a piano in taksim square

This morning on my way to the bus, I was lucky to catch Davide Martello still playing his piano to a weary group of protesters in Taksim Square, under the watchful eyes of the police. Martello and Turkish musician Yiğit Özatalay gave a spontaneous concert in the Square last night to show their support of the demonstrations. Martello, who was on a world tour, joined up with Özatalay to express their belief in freedom, and human rights.

Hi samantha. I used one of your photo's in a little personal project I do this year, called timeline. I hope you don't mind.
Every 15th of every month I choose a (news)picture that somehow hits me, also for its graphic quality. I redraw it to find out what I like about it. I hope in december the combined drawings will tell something of this year.
You can find the drawing based your picture on my blog, http://www.renefijten.blogspot.nl/
I referred to your name and blog of course.
