one pigeon, two pigeon



I suddenly realised that I completely forgot to post the finished pigeon portraits that I showed you the beginnings of in March. Ta-dah!

The work-in-progress adds to the enjoyment of the final piece. It's like watching the pigeons coming to life.

I too like the work in progress approach, as a self taught and always will be learning watercolourist I appreciate seeing the approach and development of a painting regardless of the medium - most times it gives me reassurance that I'm on the right track or the clue I need to get on the right track - thanks for sharing! As usual, love your work

The pigeons in Istanbul, beautiful.Years ago I watched a flock of pigeons in Istanbul with bells on their feet. Your beautiful picture reminds me.
