antioch

Everywhere a peeling colour, faded script
the scent of thyme
the pleading call of swifts.

You really do have an eye for interesting subjects, and you capture them so well!

Pictures fabulous as always, and even more evocative with the scent of thyme and the sound of birds...

I have an affinity for doors and windows and buildings - thanks for these images!

Thank you, Balaji and Barbara!
Barbara, there's a whole post of doors and windows coming up!

I love that top building - would like to draw it.

Isn't it gorgeous?

I was travelling with non-sketchers, and felt like I couldn't sit down and draw much... It's hard when you want to draw everything, and it takes time away from socialising.

Next time I'll go on my own or better yet, with my favourite travelling partner, who happens to be a brilliant sketcher :)

I certainly miss your drawings which I loved to see on Skineart web blog. I trust these words reach you in fine health and spirited happiness. Of course, I look forward to seeing what this season of summer brings to your work, especially your drawings! greyseal

Thank you Larry, I miss drawing all the time. I have been doing some drawing, but not as much as I used to, as I have been having problems with my hands. Hopefully soon, it will pass!
