Jean, most people don't enjoy Istanbul in the winter as it is grey, damp and cold. There is a poetic melancholy about the place, but the weather does creep into your bones and can feel miserable!
Harika is the Turkish word for wonderful, marvellous, extraordinary. It has always been one of my most favourite words, for both its meaning and the pleasure of pronouncing it.

I can feel the mood you captured here, beautiful!
Wonderful. I long to see Istanbul in Winter one day, having only visited in Summer.
Thank you, Renilde and Jean.
