Oh, what fabulous drawings!!! Full of love, with time to sketch and the desire to imprint this deeply personal (yet universal) experience upon your memory!!

Also, that Goat guy is why this planet is so fantastic - we will never know everything, what magic!! And thank you for sharing it - I'm always a little bit richer for following your sketch/photo journeys. :)

Thank you both so much!

Sheryl, I had heard about the Bilmawn from some of my students who were on a school trip in the Atlas mountains around the time of the Eid, and they came back with wild stories about being chased by one with a rubber hose. We were doing an animation unit at the time, and most of them created stop-motion animations of the "Goat Man". I knew that when the next Eid came around, I would have to seek out this Goat Man. I feel really lucky that we found one, and that I was able to sketch him. It was so strange and wonderful, and I agree with you— this planet is so fantastic for all its diversity and colour.

Thank you :)
