so showing my ignorance, who knew one would need a winter jacket in istanbul?!!
here in canada it is actually still light at 5 p.m. so exciting to watch the days get longer! even if only in minute increments!

Yes, Barbara, we get all seasons here, and winters can get very cold. We get icy rain and snow— last year we had quite a bit of snow and the previous year I remember this dreadful icy rain. This has been a pretty mild winter so far, but we haven't gotten to February yet!
