It is a odd juxtaposition to see your beautifully sketched bird & then the traffic photos. The last time I was in Istanbul the population was a mere 2 million compared to the 12 million today! I love the way you write about your subjects and the stories you share about your childhood. thank you,

Istanbul is infused with memories for me— today there was a smell that took me back to seven. It's a magical place.
