in last posts when u keep writing about your wish to see the Himalaya make me very eager to keep reading and to see what happend when you reach your goal! I got the impresion that the journey and the way you live it was an important stept for appreciating the Himalaya... the sketches have something magical on them .. I find that you have caught everything on them..thanks for sharing them with us !
Beautiful! As a lifelong skier I am obviously in love with the mountains and you have captured this epic range magnificently! I'm sooooooo jealous that you got to see them in the flesh!
(As a side-note, I just learned that my cousin's son [who is living wth him in Kathmandu at the moment] might have Typhoid! He's on antibiotics and will be fine, but that's kind of crazy! You're lucky your ankle didn't get infected too bad.)
Thanks Tim! I hope your cousin's son is ok— I was really very lucky that I managed to get away with a little leg infection and a cough. Not one stomach issue— very lucky. Typhoid, man. People tend to forget that it still exists. I wish him a speedy recovery!
Harika is the Turkish word for wonderful, marvellous, extraordinary. It has always been one of my most favourite words, for both its meaning and the pleasure of pronouncing it.
Welcome to Harika, the adventures of a compulsive sketcher.
