Samantha--I have enjoyed your photographs from around the world, but you can imagine my surprise when I looked at your post from February 8th and see you are in Zagreb! Wow! I was born in Zagreb and I enjoyed seeing the familiar places. Do you have any sketches from Zagreb? Enjoy your stay there.
I loved Zagreb and wish I could have stayed longer, but it was only for a weekend. Due to the freezing rain, I only sketched a little in the Archaeological Museum, which was truly one of the finest I have ever been to.
I hope to revisit Croatia in warmer weather, and see some more of the country— I truly fell in love with it!
Harika is the Turkish word for wonderful, marvellous, extraordinary. It has always been one of my most favourite words, for both its meaning and the pleasure of pronouncing it.
Welcome to Harika, the adventures of a compulsive sketcher.
