The work-in-progress adds to the enjoyment of the final piece. It's like watching the pigeons coming to life.

Beautiful, I love the contrasting background.
I too like the work in progress approach, as a self taught and always will be learning watercolourist I appreciate seeing the approach and development of a painting regardless of the medium - most times it gives me reassurance that I'm on the right track or the clue I need to get on the right track - thanks for sharing!
