I haven't posted it there yet, as things have been so busy, but hopefully today. Things are much quieter, and life is almost normal. I haven't smelled or tasted gas in a week. The only evidence that anything ever occurred is the ridiculously large police presence— and the fact that no one can enter Gezi Park.
Harika is the Turkish word for wonderful, marvellous, extraordinary. It has always been one of my most favourite words, for both its meaning and the pleasure of pronouncing it.

Hope you posted to Urban Sketchers, too.

Great sketch. Despite the circumstances I am really enjoying your reportage sketches.
Thank you, Sue!
